The Town of Englehart seeks an energetic Recreation and Community Services Coordinator to support planning, delivery and evaluation of recreation and community programs. This is a temporary full-time position (52–56 weeks) that engages residents, volunteers and local partners to create programming and deliver services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, delivery and evaluation of recreation and community programs
- Engage and foster connections with residents, volunteers and local partners
- Identify opportunities and create programming and activities
- Deliver services, programs and activities related to the department
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Resides in Northern Ontario
- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Recreation, Community or Sociology (asset)
- Minimum 1–3 years progressive relevant experience
