About this job

Casual position leading fitness programs for adults and older adults 55+ at various City of London locations. Reports to Recreation Services Supervisor and works in a public-facing, team environment to deliver high-quality fitness instruction with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead high-quality fitness programs for adults and older adults 55+ in a safe, engaging environment
Create and implement program plans with supervisor support
Maintain daily records of attendance, accident reports, injuries, and safety checks
Ensure equipment and facilities are in safe working condition and report concerns
Communicate program supply needs and assist with distribution of program literature

Qualifications

Minimum one year fitness teaching experience (asset)
Fitness certification: Can Fit Pro (FIS), CSEP, SFIC, or equivalent (required)
Standard or Intermediate First Aid (prior to program start)
Vulnerable Sector Police Check (prior to program start)
