Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives including recruitment, performance management, and training programs
Supervise and manage assigned staff including scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary recommendations
Lead end-to-end project planning and implementation to improve divisional operational effectiveness
Provide strategic advice and consultation to management on recruitment, collective agreements, and HR policies
Develop tools, resources, and presentations for divisional management on workforce planning and talent strategies
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in professional discipline relevant to job function combined with management training and experience
Considerable HR experience in unionized environment with emphasis on strategic workforce planning, recruitment, and retention
Experience providing strategic support on reorganizations and restructuring
Excellent presentation and writing skills; ability to prepare briefing notes, reports, and job descriptions
Strong consultation skills and commitment to diversity and inclusion
