The Aquafitness Instructor will plan and lead safe, effective fitness classes for participants of all ages while reporting to Fitness Supervisors and the Fitness Coordinator. The role requires current aquafitness certification, First Aid/CPR-C certification, and a commitment to providing excellent instruction and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead safe and effective aquafitness classes in accordance with Fitness Instructor Certification
Provide a safe learning environment and educate participants on correct exercise technique
Participate in all mandatory staff trainings and meetings
Maintain all current certifications and send updated copies to the Fitness Supervisor
Complete accident and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications
Current Fitness Instructor Specialist or Aquafitness Instructor Certification
Experience teaching fitness classes
Emergency First Aid with CPR-C/AED
Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
Excellent customer service and communication skills
