Permanent full-time position with Saskatoon Light & Power providing condition assessment and program development support for utility infrastructure. Reports to the Maintenance Engineer and involves asset management analyses, risk assessment, and field work including surveying and contractor supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive asset registry lists in consultation with GIS Analyst and subject matter experts
Perform Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Failure Mode and Effects analyses using industry resources
Determine and report on condition rating, residual life, and replacement costs of assets
Perform risk analyses and create risk priority numbers; collaborate on Capital and Operations & Maintenance task summaries
Prepare work orders, cost estimates, budget estimates; perform field work including surveying, contractor supervision, and utility facility location
Qualifications
Graduation from a recognized two-year post-secondary Electrical Engineering Technology program
Registered as a Professional Technologist with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan
Four to seven years related experience in an electrical utility; transmission, distribution, substations and street lighting experience considered an asset
Successful completion of one or more AMP education courses towards PEMAC CAMP and Electrical Engineering Technologist I Skills Assessment exam
Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence and current SGI Driver's Abstract demonstrating safe driving record
