Casual Assistant Lifeguard position with the City of Prince Albert Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. Under lifeguard supervision, monitors public activities in and around swimming pools to ensure safety compliance and enforce facility rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor safety procedures and perform first aid, water rescues, and assistant lifeguarding duties within skills and training
- Supervise patron activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Enforce swimming pool rules and regulations per City of Prince Albert and Saskatchewan Public Health Act
- Participate in cleaning and disinfection duties
- Maintain lifesaving and aquatic fitness skills through ongoing training
Qualifications
- Minimum age 15
- Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross certification (current)
- Standard First Aid and CPR C (current)
- If under 16: parental consent note and Young Worker Readiness Certificate prior to commencing work
