Building Custodian 3 position under supervision of the Resident Building Operator performing unskilled cleaning and minor maintenance work at various City locations, including pool facilities. Part-time casual role in Facilities Management, Utilities and Environment Division.
Key Responsibilities
Clean interior and exterior of buildings, grounds, walkways, pool decks, whirlpools, change rooms, and perform pool vacuuming
Assist with relocation and installation of fixtures and equipment
Secure and lock gates and doors of buildings and City property
Perform minor maintenance and repairs to premises and fixtures
Perform pool water quality tests as required
Qualifications
Grade 10 education
Three months' related cleaning and maintenance experience, including experience in a civic recreation or office building
Successful completion of the Saskatchewan Swimming Pool Operators course
Knowledge of materials, practices and equipment used in cleaning and maintenance work for pool and non-pool spaces
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and understand oral and written instructions
