The Business Management Analyst provides advisory services and leads initiatives supporting Toronto Water's business, technology, financial, operational, and risk management objectives. This full-time permanent role involves strategic planning, process improvement, project management, and performance measurement across water and wastewater operations.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct industry and business research and analysis on water/wastewater developments, corporate policies, legislation, and government initiatives
Document, map, analyze, and re-engineer business processes; conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses
Develop and manage strategic business and operational planning activities, including business cases, performance reports, and service delivery plans
Facilitate and coordinate internal and cross-divisional working groups and committees to improve communications and deliver solutions
Coordinate and provide direction to project teams; manage project expenditures within approved budgets

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in business, public administration, professional discipline, or pertinent field, or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
Considerable experience in strategic and long-term business planning, including research, development, and writing of business plans and service delivery plans
Considerable analytical and implementation experience in organizational design, business and technology planning, and process review and modelling
Considerable experience in all phases of project management, including team management and stakeholder coordination
Extensive experience in initiating, leading, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
