About this job

The Business Program & Solutions Specialist leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business solutions and service delivery models within Toronto's Community Safety and Wellbeing unit. The role focuses on advancing alternative community safety programs, analyzing business processes, and managing projects from planning through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis and solution development initiatives to support design, implementation and continuous improvement of services and business processes
  • Develop detailed project plans, impact assessments and documentation to guide implementation of future-state service delivery models
  • Lead project deliverables from initiation through implementation and post-implementation review, including transition and knowledge transfer
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, options analyses and research to identify opportunities to modernize services and integrate technology-enabled solutions
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs, facilitate decision-making and support implementation

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, business analysis, adult learning, computer sciences, public administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable experience analyzing, designing, developing and implementing business processes, service delivery models and/or business solutions
  • Considerable experience leading and coordinating projects or programs from planning through implementation, evaluation and post-implementation support
  • Experience conducting business analysis, including documenting current and future-state processes and assessing impacts
  • Experience developing and evaluating business solutions, including feasibility assessments, options analyses and user acceptance testing
