Casual janitor position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety of municipal buildings under direction of the Project & Asset Manager. Duties include routine cleaning, sanitation, seasonal snow removal, and other assigned tasks. Shifts vary across weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure designated municipal buildings are clean and safe
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintain sanitary conditions
  • Maintain appearance of facilities
  • Perform seasonal snow removal
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • One year previous experience in related field
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate Microsoft applications
