Project Manager for the Engineering Service reporting to the Assistant Director. Responsible for preparing, designing, and managing municipal engineering projects across civil infrastructure, including project conception, tender preparation, contract management, and compliance oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct analyses, expertise, reports, studies, and technical support in civil engineering, circulation, geotechnics, landscape architecture, bridges, and municipal infrastructure
Design engineering projects and assume professional responsibility for supervised work
Prepare, verify, and approve plans, specifications, and estimates per applicable laws, standards, and regulations
Coordinate planning, organization, and execution of engineering work among services, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Prepare tender documents, participate in selection committees, analyze submissions, and oversee contracts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, unified engineering, or related engineering discipline combined with relevant experience
Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in the field
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
Good communication skills
Valid driver's license
