Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic technology and AI advice to senior leadership and Council on technology services, digital transformation, investments, and risks
Lead delivery and continuous improvement of IT services including enterprise technology strategy, architecture, roadmaps, and investment planning
Ensure information security, privacy, data governance, accessibility, and ethical use are integrated into technology and AI strategies
Manage human and financial resources of the IT service including contracted services and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
Oversee enterprise applications, digital capabilities, technology infrastructure, asset management, and workplace technology support services
Qualifications
Completion of 4-year university degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field
Minimum 10 years progressively responsible senior leadership experience in technology and AI strategy, digital transformation, and service delivery in large complex public-sector or comparable environment
Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary teams, organizational change, external contract resources, and operating and capital budgets
Fluency in both official languages (bilingual day-1 ready requirement)
Knowledge of information security, privacy, data governance, public-sector governance, project management, and applicable health and safety legislation
