Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare all food served within child care centres with emphasis on well-balanced, nutritious meals
Accommodate special dietary needs and medically prescribed dietary restrictions
Manage kitchen budget and environment
Maintain accurate stock control to minimize waste
Safely operate and maintain kitchen tools and equipment
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 10
Minimum 6 months experience cooking for large groups
Knowledge of Canada's Food Guide
