The City of Fort Saskatchewan is recruiting a Child Minding Attendant to monitor children and provide customer service at Auggie's Place Childminding Centre and Connect Hearing Play Station, reporting to the Recreation Program Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor children and meet their needs
Ensure high level of customer service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Create safe, caring, and nurturing environment
Perform inspections of program equipment for malfunctions or dangerous situations

Qualifications

Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to listen and communicate constructively with children, parents, and coworkers
First Aid/CPR certification required
Child Behavior Management and Risk Management Awareness training considered an asset
Preference for 1 year previous related experience and daytime availability
