Key Responsibilities
Administer comfort care techniques including aromatherapy, light massage, and other techniques
Assess resident needs and develop individual and group comfort care plans
Implement interventions and monitor results
Report outcomes to Head Nurse, RN or RPN and document in health care records
Collaborate with unit team and ensure resident safety, privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications
Approved certification/diploma as Registered Aromatherapist & Reflexologist and/or Certified Holistic Practitioner or equivalent experience and education
Experience carrying out complementary care techniques with geriatric populations in long-term, palliative care or healthcare settings
Ability to assess resident needs and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to use Word and Excel
Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently
