A temporary four-month co-op position with the City of Mississauga's Energy Management team. The successful candidate will assist with utilities management, energy benchmarking, data analysis, and building automation system monitoring across various municipal facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with utilities management and energy benchmarking projects
Analyze data and provide reporting support
Collect and verify site equipment data through site visits for HVAC, lighting, water, and mechanical/electrical systems
Assist in monitoring Building Automation Systems and live metering for abnormalities
Configure and manage Energy Management Information Software (SkySpark) and support grant applications
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in co-op program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Management Science, Environmental studies, or Systems Design Engineering
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Office programs
Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with teams
Proficiency in programming languages (VBA, Python, SQL) preferred; database management experience an asset
