About this job

The Recreation and Culture Department seeks a Coordinator, Marketing and Sponsorship to develop marketing campaigns, manage digital communications, support sponsorship and advertising programs, and enhance awareness of Recreation and Culture offerings across Oakville.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create marketing campaigns, communications, and visual content for Recreation and Culture programs while maintaining Town branding standards
  • Support sponsorship and advertising programs that generate revenue and strengthen community connections
  • Manage digital channels including website, social media, e-newsletters, and digital screens
  • Lead marketing and sponsorship support for Town events and community initiatives
  • Monitor campaign performance and analyze customer feedback to improve engagement

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Public Relations, or related field
  • Minimum two years in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to create print and digital content using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
  • Valid and unrestricted Ontario Driver's License Class G minimum; personal vehicle required for job duties
