Coordinate the development and implementation of comprehensive training and development strategies for the Children's Services Division. Ensure appropriate fiscal, human, and physical resources support staff development and training delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed plans and policies regarding program-specific training requirements
  • Design, develop, and manage learning initiatives aligned with field developments, corporate policies, and legislation
  • Identify, develop, and conduct training needs assessments; make strategic recommendations for performance excellence
  • Supervise project teams; recruit team members and develop project plans/timelines
  • Coordinate development and delivery of training programs; design computerized tracking processes for course attendance and completion

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Education, Adult Learning or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Considerable experience in assessment methodologies, training design, development, delivery, and program organization
  • Considerable experience in adult education principles, practices, and evaluation methodologies
  • Considerable experience evaluating training effectiveness using data, metrics, or tracking systems
  • Considerable experience designing Captivate content and deploying through LMS platforms such as ELI
