About this job

Permanent full-time Custodial Supervisor role reporting to the Superintendent of Custodial Services. Supervises and performs cleaning duties in various facilities, oversees custodial staff, and ensures tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct, inspect, and perform cleaning and building systems operation and maintenance work
  • Train on-site staff in custodial operations, equipment maintenance, and best practices
  • Perform building and operations checks to identify maintenance needs and ensure facility safety
  • Provide on-site supervision of custodial staff in coordination with the Resident Building Operator
  • Perform pool water quality tests, calibrate equipment, and adjust chemical levels as required

Qualifications

  • Grade 10 education
  • Valid Fireman's Certificate
  • Saskatchewan Swimming Pool Operators course, confined space, aerial device, and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus certification (or ability to obtain after hire)
  • Two years related cleaning and maintenance experience, including one year supervisory experience
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence and current safe driving record abstract from SGI
