Temporary full-time Customer Service & Operations Support Coordinator for Food Services in Mississauga, reporting to the Supervisor of Food Services. Responsible for administrative duties supporting food service operations at city facilities, including staff supervision, financial record-keeping, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise part-time staff including recruiting, scheduling, training, evaluating, and providing guidance
Maintain financial and statistical records, prepare weekly revenue reports, audit daily revenue reports
Manage inventory including purchasing, daily controls, monthly counts, and monitor COGS percentages
Assist in marketing and promotion of food services and support event specifications
Facilitate weekly food services meetings and act as backup for Administrative Assistant

Qualifications

Post-secondary degree or diploma in hospitality, business administration, or related field required
Minimum 3 years hospitality or food service administrative experience preferred
Previous food service or hospitality supervisory or leadership experience required
Valid and current Intermediate or Standard First Aid certification with CPR C & AED from recognized WSIB-provider, or Basic/Emergency First Aid with CPR C & AED
Smart Serve Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months of start date
