Temporary position (104 weeks) creating plans, drawings, graphics, and cartographic work for the City of Laval's Buildings, Parks and Public Spaces department. Role involves designing, updating, and distributing visual representations and maintaining related databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, correct, and update plans, drawings, graphics, and illustrations
  • Develop plans and documents from collected information using computer tools, edited to scale
  • Conduct field surveys on project sites to create or update maps, plans, and databases
  • Produce lists, reports, tables, diagrams, and other documents using office software
  • Participate in cartography and base plan creation and updates, ensure distribution

Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) in civil engineering or architecture, or equivalent experience
  • Twelve (12) months relevant experience in the role, particularly interior design
  • Excellent AutoCAD proficiency (evaluated by technical test)
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
  • Construction site safety training (SST)
