About this job
Temporary driver position for up to 3 months delivering prepared meal items via truck to long-term care clients and Adult Day Programs. Reports to the Production Kitchen Nutrition Services Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily truck safety inspections and document results
- Transport and secure Cambro carts from production area to truck
- Validate and document delivery truck temperature (0-4°C) throughout delivery
- Deliver Cambro carts to long-term care facilities and Adult Day Programs
- Arrange regular truck maintenance including refueling and repairs
Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma
- Class G driver's license
- Successful completion of Fleet Vehicle Driver Program training
- Current Food Handling certificate
- Excellent organizational skills
