About this job

Part-time non-union position with the Recreation and Culture department to supervise drop-in programs, ensure participant safety, maintain records, and provide customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive early to prepare program site and start/end programs on schedule
  • Ensure safety of all participants during programs
  • Maintain attendance records and payment documentation
  • Create and enforce positive, respectful environment
  • Assist with daily setup and cleanup of program site

Qualifications

  • Responsible, independent worker
  • Strong communication skills with staff and public
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Motivated individual with passion and knowledge in program activity
  • Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR C from WSIB-approved provider, issued within last three years
