Key Responsibilities
Provides specialized engineering expertise for day-to-day performance and operation of vessel electrical systems, charging infrastructure, battery energy storage, and automation/control systems
Responds to critical incidents and system failures; diagnoses and resolves complex electrical and control system issues
Develops and maintains short-term and long-term electrical asset management plans for ferry systems and charging infrastructure
Provides specialized engineering advice and technical recommendations to management, vessel staff, maintenance personnel, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
Leads electrical scope during vessel delivery, commissioning, and trials including coordination with OEMs and validation of system performance
Qualifications
University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility preferred
