The City of Temiskaming Shores is hiring a full-time permanent Equipment Operator for the Public Works department to safely operate municipal equipment and support road maintenance and general labour tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate various types of municipal equipment
Perform winter road maintenance tasks such as plowing, sanding and salting
Load and unload trucks using appropriate mechanisms
Perform routine maintenance and seasonal preparation on equipment
Maintain daily equipment usage records and equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent
Valid Province of Ontario Class "DZ" driver's licence with acceptable driving record
Two (2) years of relevant experience
