The City of Temiskaming Shores is hiring a full-time permanent Equipment Operator for the Public Works department to safely operate municipal equipment and support road maintenance and general labour tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of municipal equipment
- Perform winter road maintenance tasks such as plowing, sanding and salting
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate mechanisms
- Perform routine maintenance and seasonal preparation on equipment
- Maintain daily equipment usage records and equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent
- Valid Province of Ontario Class "DZ" driver's licence with acceptable driving record
- Two (2) years of relevant experience
