Full-time permanent Project Coordinator role with the City of Temiskaming Shores, Community Development Department. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating project delivery, event management, stakeholder engagement, and sponsorship coordination for industry programs and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer participant registrations and manage online registration portal
- Research, negotiate, and secure venues and hotel accommodations
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities and recruitment
- Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain financial records
- Represent the Corporation at mining industry trade shows and coordinate logistics
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Event Management, Project Management, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience coordinating events, conferences, trade shows, or industry programs
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with budgets, financial tracking, and payment reconciliation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
