The Region of Waterloo is recruiting for its Engineering Progression Program in Design & Construction (Transportation), offering a structured career path across three levels: Engineering Intern, Engineer, and Senior Engineer. Key Responsibilities
Support or independently manage capital projects depending on level (planning, design, and management)
Prepare contract drawings and technical documentation
Manage project budgets and coordinate with stakeholders
Direct technical staff and supervise multidisciplinary teams (Senior Engineer level)
Provide technical assistance on construction sites and support property transactions
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Applied Science (Engineering Intern level)
Eligible for registration as Engineering Intern with PEO (Engineering Intern level)
Licensed as Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario or holding Limited License with PEO (Engineer and Senior Engineer levels)
