Key Responsibilities
Track, receive, issue and store weapons and police equipment
Ensure equipment is in working order and examine for quality control
Conduct minor repairs and identify malfunctioning equipment
Maintain adequate level of equipment and supplies
Prepare equipment kits for members and maintain records, files and reports
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by courses related to the work
Sound related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge of various types and use of weapons and police equipment required by RCMP members
Knowledge of safety regulations for handling weapons and police equipment
Ability to use spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software
