Full-time permanent facilities maintenance and inspection assistant supporting Water Facilities & Treatment Services. Responsible for general maintenance, repair, and inspection of water/wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and related facilities across Ottawa.
Key Responsibilities
General maintenance and repair of assigned Water Services buildings and grounds
Maintain water and wastewater treatment plants, Solid Waste site at Trail Road, and administrative buildings
Service remote facilities including pumping stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, and stormwater ponds
Complete facility inspections and condition assessments
Provide related support to Water Facilities & Treatment Services
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12
Minimum 4 years experience conducting general repairs, maintenance and renovations in an industrial setting
Valid Ontario unrestricted G class driver's licence with no more than 6 demerit points
Valid Ontario unrestricted DZ class driver's licence with no more than 6 demerit points
Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
