Part-time temporary facility attendant position (approximately 9 months) at Assembly Hall responsible for front-of-house duties, building security, event assistance, concession operations, and light custodial work at City of Toronto cultural facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Handle front-of-house duties and concession preparation and reconciliation
Assist with building security, fire safety, evacuation, event assistance, and client service during events
Communicate with rental clients regarding pre-event details and post-event observations including damages and incidents
Respond to on-site assistance requests and coordinate event details with volunteer ushers
Conduct financial transactions for concessions, materials sales, and program registration

Qualifications

Experience working with volunteers and providing information and direction for events, programs, or facility operations
Experience in direct customer service delivery (in-person, phone, email, etc.)
Experience in rental, event, theatre, cultural or public-facing facility
Experience using Active Net or equivalent and MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent combination of education and experience
