About this job
The City of Beaumont seeks an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to provide advisory support to leaders and employees on employee relations, disability management, performance concerns, and workplace issues while helping strengthen HR processes and practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide coaching and advice to leaders on employee relations, attendance, conduct, conflict, and workplace concerns
- Manage disability, accommodation, and return-to-work cases in partnership with employees, leaders, and external partners
- Develop, improve, and implement HR policies, procedures, programs, tools, and processes
- Coach leaders on performance management, setting expectations, feedback, and addressing performance issues
- Support recruitment and selection processes and manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding and exits
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business, or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including at least 3 years in a generalist, business partner, or advisory capacity
- Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, disability management, accommodation, and complex workplace matters
- Experience conducting or supporting workplace fact-finding and investigations
- Experience coaching and advising supervisors, managers, and senior leaders
