Temporary mechanical engineering role supporting building systems analysis and project coordination for the City of Laval, including HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration design with responsibility for sealed plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and coordinate studies and analyses of building ventilation, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration projects
Seal plans and specifications in compliance with Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec regulations
Collaborate on implementation and execution of contracted and managed work projects
Coordinate technical and administrative liaison between project owner and service department
Provide technical information and expertise to requesters
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
Member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
Six years relevant experience in project development phases, energy economy, and LEED eco-responsible building construction
Construction site safety training (SST)
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
