Part-time instructor role teaching introductory to advanced creative programs in theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, and multi-media arts for all ages. Position offers up to 24 hours per week at various Ottawa locations with flexible scheduling across days, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Design creative instructional programs in theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, and multi-media arts for all ages
Teach introductory to advanced arts courses
Evaluate student learning and program effectiveness
Develop creative programming
Work with diverse age groups in instructional settings
Qualifications
University/college degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or education in one or more arts disciplines (theatre, dance, music, visual, literary, multi-media arts) or equivalent arts experience
Minimum 5 years practicing and/or teaching experience in related arts discipline
Previous experience working with all ages in arts instructional setting
Current Standard First Aid, CPR and/or AED certificates
High Five training and AODA Customer Service/IASR Training
