About this job

Full-time janitor position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety of municipal buildings, including routine cleaning tasks and seasonal snow removal, working 40 hours per week over a 7-day schedule that may include days, evenings, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in designated municipal buildings
  • Perform routine cleaning and appearance maintenance tasks
  • Conduct seasonal snow removal
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Project & Asset Manager

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 Diploma
  • One year previous experience in related field
  • Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate Microsoft applications
