Temporary full-time Inventory and Parts Coordinator for the Saskatoon Fire Department Logistics division, responsible for inventory management, parts procurement, and distribution for the fire department's equipment and fleet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and standardize inventory stock and processes for SFD Logistics
  • Support planning and coordination for equipment and fleet servicing through Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) in SAP
  • Procure and distribute inventories to SFD facilities
  • Source quotes and issue purchase orders using SAP system
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a related one-year business certificate program from post-secondary college or university
  • Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
  • Knowledge of SAP system for procurement functions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
