Temporary part-time contract labourer (6 months) for Community Recycling Centers providing front-line support, directing vehicle traffic, assisting residents, and maintaining site cleanliness and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Direct vehicle and material dumping activities at Community Recycling Centres, Transfer Stations, and Compost Facilities in orderly and safe manner
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of site and buildings
Load and unload supplies and equipment from trucks
Maintain and clean heavy equipment
Provide customer service and winter maintenance including snow clearing
Qualifications
Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent with six (6) months job related experience
Able to operate and maintain manual and power equipment
Written and verbal communication skills
Capable of accurately completing required forms and reports
Class G license in good standing; satisfactory Level 1 Criminal Record Check
