Industrial electrotechnician role with the City of Saguenay's Engineering Service in La Baie district, responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing automated systems, electrical equipment and controls for water treatment facilities, pumping stations and reservoirs.
Key Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, maintain and repair factory equipment, pumping stations and reservoirs
Program, maintain and repair automated systems, operator interfaces and variable frequency drives
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; propose necessary adjustments or modifications
Study system problems, analyze solutions and produce reports and recommendations
Supervise electrical work performed by electromechanicians as needed
Qualifications
DEC in industrial electronics technology or electrical engineering
Five years relevant experience in industrial process automation, including two years with Wonderware, RSLogix 5, 500 and 5000 systems
Journeyman electrician competency certificate
Construction site general safety course (commit to obtaining within reasonable timeframe)
Good knowledge of variable frequency drives: Allen Bradley PowerFlex and ABB
