Full-time temporary logistics technician position with Toronto Paramedic Services for up to 1 year, responsible for cleaning and maintaining ambulances, medical equipment, and supplies while performing warehouse and inventory management duties across multiple paramedic stations.
Key Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize ambulances, emergency vehicles, equipment, response bags, and uniforms
Safely contain and remove bio-hazardous waste; receive and distribute clean uniforms to paramedics
Prepare, restock, and maintain inventory of response bags, vehicles, and mini-store supplies
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on paramedic equipment including cardiac monitors, stretchers, oxygen and suction equipment
Operate vehicles, perform MTO circle checks, fuel vehicles, and input maintenance and inventory data into databases
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
Considerable experience with semi-skilled work, hand/pneumatic/power tools, and warehouse/material handling
Experience conducting routine and preventative maintenance on ambulance or comparable medical equipment
Experience with motor vehicle evaluation and maintenance
Valid Province of Ontario Class G Driver's License and ability to obtain City equipment operating permits
