Key Responsibilities

Process lottery license applications, verify completeness, assess compliance, and calculate license fees
Investigate public complaints on licensed lottery events and take corrective action
Design and deliver training programs on eligibility criteria and provincial compliance requirements
Audit charity lottery bank accounts and financial statements to verify regulatory compliance
Respond to public and Council inquiries, prepare reports, and attend court as needed

Qualifications

Experience in municipal or regulatory enforcement environment, such as lottery licensing
Experience interpreting and applying bylaws/regulations and conducting investigations
Considerable customer service experience with non-profit/charitable organizations and public
Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online portal platforms
