Permanent full-time manager position reporting to the Manager of Municipal Infrastructure, responsible for implementing asset management policies, planning infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement, and developing multi-year capital budgets for the City of Woodstock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and update strategic asset management policy and plans covering all City assets
  • Define infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement needs using methodologies, condition ratings, risk assessment, and lifecycle evaluation
  • Manage study, evaluation, and analysis of City's future municipal infrastructure requirements and capacity
  • Develop one, five, and ten-year capital plans and budget forecasts for asset preservation and rehabilitation
  • Supervise the GIS Coordinator

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum five years related experience in a municipal environment or comparable role
  • Project management skills and thorough knowledge of municipal operations and capital infrastructure planning
  • Knowledge of O. Reg 588/17, ISO 55000, ISO 55001, ISO 55002, and ISO 31000
  • Valid Ontario 'G' driver's license
