Lead a multidisciplinary team of five in advancing innovation, quality improvement, professional practice, and accreditation across Peel Region Seniors Services. Provide strategic direction to enhance service quality, operational effectiveness, and resident outcomes in long-term care and seniors services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead development and execution of divisional strategies and transformative initiatives enhancing service quality and resident outcomes
Provide clinical and professional leadership supporting evidence-based nursing and interdisciplinary practices aligned with professional standards and legislation
Oversee complex multi-phased projects from concept through implementation, including business case development and funding proposals
Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, mentorship, performance management, and succession planning
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with B.ScN and current registration in good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
Minimum four years recent experience in long-term care or Seniors Services setting
Minimum five years of related management/leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Thorough knowledge of health care system, Fixing Long Term Care Act 2021, Ontario Regulations 246/22, and long-term care industry guidelines
Member of Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) and other relevant organizations
