Part-time Master Instructor for Aquatics/Leadership at Town of Oakville. Delivers high-quality leadership and aquatics instruction programs including National Lifeguard, First Aid, and Swim/Lifesaving courses to people of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach advanced leadership courses including National Lifeguard, Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED, LSS Swim and Lifesaving Instructors, and Aquatic Supervisor
  • React calmly and positively to changing environments and situations
  • Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Meet deadlines, coordinate tasks, and complete administration duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Current instructor certification(s) for indicated leadership courses
  • Current National Lifeguard certification
  • Current Intermediate First Aid with CPR-C & AED
  • Examiner status in certified teaching stream by start of contract
  • Ability to work with people of all ages and abilities
