Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, lead, and deliver clay classes including hand building and wheel throwing for children, youth, and adults

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary program specializing in ceramics
  • Experience developing clay lessons and activity plans for children, youth, and adults in a ceramic studio
  • Previous teaching experience in ceramics in an educational setting
  • Demonstrated abilities and strong knowledge of contemporary craft and ceramics including hand building and wheel throwing
  • Familiarity with broad range of artistic techniques, practices and materials
