Part-time Master Instructor for digital arts classes at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre in Oakville. Teaches graphic design, digital photography, animation, video editing, coding, 3D printing, website design, and related disciplines to children, youth, and adults in a Macintosh environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, lead, and deliver digital arts classes to meet participant needs
  • Assist with research and development of digital arts programming for all age groups
  • Develop curriculum ensuring digital art activities are safe, creative, and inclusive
  • Provide positive learning and recreational experience for participants
  • Support Town department objectives and mandate

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary program in Digital Arts or related discipline
  • Demonstrated abilities and strong knowledge of contemporary Digital Arts trends and technologies
  • Experience developing lesson and activity plans for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Previous teaching experience with Digital Arts in educational classroom setting
  • Familiar with broad range of digital techniques including Photoshop, Premiere, ProTools, TinkerCAD, Cricut 3, or similar tools
