About this job

Part-time Master Instructor position for a preschool recreational program serving preschool-aged children. The role involves coordinating and delivering age-appropriate activities, program planning, staff support, and ensuring participant safety in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily activities that are safe, creative, age-appropriate, and inclusive
  • Prepare weekly activity plans for approval and distribution to participants
  • Work with staff to create and deliver optimal program for preschool participants
  • Ensure safety of participants and respond to emergencies and behavior management issues
  • Track attendance, update registrations, maintain medical cards, file incident reports, and perform other administrative duties

Qualifications

  • ECE diploma
  • 2–4 years experience in a leadership capacity in daycare or recreation setting
  • 1–2 years experience as volunteer in preschool, education, or recreational setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience developing and implementing age-appropriate activities; demonstrated child management skills; enthusiasm for working with preschool-aged children
