Key Responsibilities

Provide personal care and activities of daily living to residents
Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families
Observe and report changes in resident status in Point of Care
Record necessary data such as flow sheets
Work cooperatively with team members and receive direction from registered staff

Qualifications

Personal Support Worker (PSW) program completion (July 1, 2014 or later) or current HSCPOA registration
Secondary School Graduation Diploma and PSW Certificate from recognized college
Team oriented with excellent communication skills
Understanding of Residents' Bill of Rights and Ministry of Long-Term Care compliance standards
Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt to resident needs
