About this job

Casual Planning and Support Coordinator role supporting recreation programs in London. Reports to Supervisor, Recreation Services and assists with administrative, logistical, and operational coordination of city recreation and sport programs across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit programming sites to check in with program instructors and ensure health and safety requirements are met
  • Act as liaison between front line staff and Supervisor to promote teamwork and communication
  • Assist in development of program plans and delivery of recreation programs
  • Manage shift scheduling, staff coaching, and certification tracking
  • Collect forms and prepare reports on registration, attendance, safety checks, accident reports, and program evaluations

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' experience in a recreation programming setting
  • Experience with Child and Youth and/or Adult and older adults populations
  • HIGH FIVE® Healthy Child Development Certification and QUEST Certification (prior to start)
  • Standard or Intermediate First Aid Certificate (prior to start)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (prior to start)
