The Project Director Business Transformation leads strategic initiatives within the Development Review Division to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness. Reporting to the Director, Engineering Review, this role oversees development engineering teams and supports business process improvements and organizational change to establish a future-state operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, design and implement functional policies and programs for major business performance changes
Direct all team activities through subordinate management staff and delegate management responsibility
Lead transformational initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of development review
Develop and implement project management strategies and change management initiatives including training and communications
Provide leadership and oversight to multi-disciplinary project teams and report project status to Steering Committee
Qualifications
Post-secondary education with relevant management training and experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Extensive senior level experience managing and leading staff in major change initiatives
Extensive experience leading complex projects with demonstrated objectives on large-scale transformational initiatives
Extensive experience working with executives and senior management across the organization
Superior analytical and human relations skills with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
