Full-time 12-month temporary contract Project Manager in Asset Management for the Region of Waterloo. The role involves planning and implementing corporate asset management systems, developing business intelligence tools, and leading cross-departmental initiatives to support infrastructure management and community growth.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage improvements to corporate work management and decision support systems; coordinate with vendors and IT for issue resolution
Develop and implement key performance indicators, business intelligence dashboards, and analytics to track asset performance and inform decision-making
Lead multi-disciplinary teams in developing and implementing the asset management program including budgets, funding plans, and special projects
Consolidate asset management data from multiple teams and business units; support data quality standards and data lifecycle management
Lead asset management office technology projects; develop project charters, statements of work, and manage project scope, schedules, and budgets

Qualifications

Related degree or diploma (including engineering) plus related experience
Demonstrated experience in asset management planning, performance management, life-cycle management, and municipal infrastructure operations
Experience with asset management work management systems and decision support systems
Knowledge of municipal capital and operating budgeting and long-range planning
Knowledge of project management techniques, system design, data modelling, business intelligence and analytics, and data management

Hours: 35 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
