Full-time temporary Project Manager (36 months) in Corporate Real Estate Management to initiate, plan, and oversee complex multi-disciplinary projects supporting City Council reports. Key Responsibilities
Provide project management support for Council and Committee agenda items, ensuring compliance with corporate reporting requirements and approval processes
Collaborate with divisional experts and corporate partners to gather information, assess impacts, and develop recommendations
Maintain systems and tools to monitor Council-directed initiatives, identify implementation risks, and support reporting to senior management
Oversee multi-disciplinary teams delivering high-quality project management services on divisional projects
Prepare briefing notes and reports to senior management, Committees, and Council; represent division in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in professional discipline pertinent to job function combined with relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Considerable experience leading complex projects, including developing project design, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, and deliverable management
Considerable experience managing City Council relations and engagement functions, and issues management
Considerable experience managing large number of projects/programs in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines and high expectations
Experience establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
